Staff dashboard

The web app where compliance reporters review the day's anti-money-laundering alerts, investigate an account and file the case. It was two years old when I joined, and I spent four months making it easier to use.

I joined the project in November 2024 and worked with the team until August 2025. My contribution covered shared components, search and tables, and Arabic and English interfaces.

The dashboard was already running when I joined. I worked from team tickets and review comments, starting with a shared component and translation work before moving on to search and table improvements.

The same detail view appeared on a search page and inside a dialog. I moved it into one component used by both, so a fix could reach both places.

I also added search filters and a reset button, and kept the table's action column visible while the rest of the table scrolled.

The dashboard had been built in Arabic, so adding English meant more than translating a few labels. I used i18n to bring English across the workflow compliance staff rely on: reviewing alerts, searching accounts and investigating cases. The same screens, tables, forms and dialogs needed to work in both languages, so staff could use one consistent dashboard instead of learning a separate experience.

I carried the translations through the interface while preserving the Arabic right-to-left layout. That made English a complete option across the product, alongside the Arabic experience the team already used.
