Qi Card, SuperQi mini-app

Tasdid+

Tasdid is Qi's bill platform in Iraq: billers and merchants issue invoices, customers are notified and can pay from the Qi wallet. Tasdid+ is its mini-app inside SuperQi, and I built it.

I worked on releasing the Tasdid mini-app for SuperQi, collaborating with the business, UI/UX, backend, DevOps and information security teams. I aligned requirements with my manager, a solution architect. After launch, I added Auto-debt subscriptions, direct pay, money requests and quick merchant invoicing.

One place for every bill.

Tasdid (tasdid.net) is Qi Card's platform for issuing and paying bills electronically. A biller or merchant creates a single invoice or uploads a whole batch, customises it and sends it. The customer gets a notification when the bill is issued and again when it is paid, and pays from the Qi wallet, by QR, or in the app. Electricity, water, internet, residential compounds, schools, merchants and government agencies use it for billing. Tasdid+ also supports peer-to-peer money requests.

Tasdid+ is the customer-facing mini-app inside SuperQi, Qi's super-app built with Ant International on Alipay+ technology. Everything on this page is that mini-app.

  • The mini-app itself. Since February 2026, I have written its routing, state, API layer and pages. About 80% of its commits are mine; the UI design came from Qi's design team.
  • Bill lookup and payment: categories, billers and services, subscription lookup, due bills on the home screen, SuperQi tradePay, and a confirm callback so a bill is never charged twice.
  • Payment security: safeguards to reduce fraud and prevent payments from being applied to the wrong bill or charged twice.
  • Receipts: a payment receipt with a QR code rendered on the phone, saved to Tasdid and shareable from the app.
  • Partner deeplinks: any mini-app inside SuperQi can open Tasdid+ on a specific account with a qicardwallet:// link. The parameters survive the container's re-encoding, the partner is verified server-side, and after payment a countdown sends the user back. I wrote the onboarding guide partners integrate against.
  • Request money: a two-step flow with a contact picker, receiving account, fee breakdown, share text, and lists of sent and received requests. It boots into its own yellow theme when launched from SuperQi's home tile.
  • Merchant quick invoice: a merchant account builds an itemised invoice from saved or custom services, with quantities, a note, a preview and a shareable invoice number.
  • Speed and resilience: lazy-loaded pages with idle prefetch, a boot splash picked before first paint, loading and error states everywhere, and a demo mode that fakes the container and the backend so the UI can be recorded without production data.

A link that survives three decode passes and comes back with the user.

When customers arrive from another SuperQi mini-app, Tasdid+ opens the bill they came to pay instead of making them start over. After payment, it takes them back to where they began. I built the handoff and added partner checks so each app can open only the services it is allowed to use, keeping the payment on the intended path.

  • I chose Svelte because its small JavaScript payload suits a mini-app running inside SuperQi.
  • Deeplink routing: the SuperQi container can change a partner link before Tasdid+ opens. I built startup routing to restore the intended destination before the first screen appears, so customers land directly on the bill they came to pay without a flash of the home screen or extra searching.
  • The SuperQi bridge (hylid-bridge, the Alipay+ my.* JSAPI) handles auth codes, the contact picker, the navigation bar and tradePay.
  • I worked with DevOps to package the mini-app in Docker and set up separate development, staging and production environments.
